Kansas_SMP -- The Kansas SMP project uses outreach and education to prevent health care fraud and error as well as other scams. Kansas SMP acts as a clearing house for fraud reporting.
About Kansas_SMP	English (USA)
The Kansas Department for Aging and Disability's SMP is a statewide project designed to reduce Medicare & Medicaid fraud, waste and abuse. Through education, outreach, one-on-one assistance and problem resolution, Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries are educated and counseled on how to protect, identify, and report scams, and healthcare fraud and abuse. The Kansas SMP will train volunteers to assist with educating consumers on Medicare & Medicaid fraud, abuse and waste. The trained volunteers give presentations, provide individual assistance, and participate in health and senior fairs in the community.
